I am not sure you know it, but the end of the year is the time of lightning deals in all stores, both offline and offline. Stores do their best to dump goods that are either going to be obsolete next year or have been selling poorly otherwise, so they lower the prices drastically.
Now, the stores know about the extreme customer activity (everyone’s shopping for Christmas gifts!) and also about the coming dead season. There are very few sales in the beginning of the year since people have spent a lot of money for their winter holidays gifts. That is why stores dump goods to get new stock and win in quantity of sold items.
Amazon has lightning deals as well. They have something on sale every day, and the savings can often get crazy.
For instance, here’s a great desktop $100 off, there is a bunch of photo cameras with prices $150-200 lower that usually. If it runs under electronic department of Amazon and has a discount – it appears on my site! This is a special script I coded to gather all discounted deals in one place. Use it and abuse it.
Now, the nature of lightning deals is that they are (get ready) fast. As a result, they can either expire very soon, or increase in value! SO each time you see a discount on my site, press “check price”. See a discount” Press “Check Price” and you will get to Amazon, where you can get an actuallylower price!
Once you are on Amazon, and you love the deal, click add to cart. This is essential for you to keep the discount even if it ends in three minutes. So the next person coming will see no discount, but you will have it already applied! Now you can pay within a day or even two, not sure about current Amazon rules. But remember: once you’ve checked your price and you like the deal, add items to cart.
